Welcome to Toronto.Kitchen. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Toronto.Kitchen website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Toronto.Kitchen.

2. Description of Service

Toronto.Kitchen is a platform that connects homeowners with kitchen-related businesses and professionals in the Toronto area. The Service allows users to search for businesses, view profiles, read reviews, and contact service providers. Businesses can create profiles, list services, and interact with potential customers.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Update your information as necessary to keep it accurate and current
  • Notify Toronto.Kitchen immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be solely responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account

4. User Conduct

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
  • Use the Service for any commercial purposes without our express written consent

5. Content

Users may post content, including but not limited to reviews, comments, and business information. By posting content, you:

  • Grant Toronto.Kitchen a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content
  • Represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post such content
  • Understand that Toronto.Kitchen does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of any user content

6. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings must be based on actual experiences with the business. Toronto.Kitchen reserves the right to remove reviews that:

  • Contain false, misleading, or deceptive information
  • Are written by business owners, employees, or competitors
  • Contain offensive or inappropriate content
  • Violate our review guidelines

7. Business Listings

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their listings. Toronto.Kitchen reserves the right to:

  • Verify business information
  • Remove or modify listings that violate these Terms
  • Categorize and display business information as deemed appropriate

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Toronto.Kitchen and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toronto.Kitchen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Toronto.Kitchen and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

Toronto.Kitchen reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

Toronto.Kitchen reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
